We’re writing to share some sad news with you directly. After a lot of thought, we’ve decided it’s time to close Bear Canyon Coffee. We will continue to roast existing inventory until it’s gone, with plans for our last roast on November 30, 2025.

This was not an easy decision. Specialty coffee has always been something we love, and running this company has been an incredible experience. The best part, by far, has been getting to know so many of you over the last five years.

For now, it’s the right time for us to step back and focus on our family and the many activities we have going on. We’ll still be advocates for specialty coffee and the amazing farmers who make it possible, just not as roasters and small business owners — at least for now.

Between now and when we close, we’ll be roasting through the green coffee we already have on hand. That means you can still order while supplies last, but once it’s gone, that will be it. (If you have a subscription, you’ll receive your final shipment before we wrap things up, and we’ll reach out first if we need to substitute origins.) All subscriptions will be canceled on November 30; no action is required on your part.

It has been a privilege serving this amazing community. We hope our coffee brought a little joy to your mornings over the years. It’s meant so much to us to be part of your daily routine.
